About Harris Aspire Academy

Harris Aspire Academy, based in South Norwood, is the hub for the Harris Federation’s alternative education provision. We are a fully inclusive school and welcome students with special educational needs and disabilities, including those with emotional and environmental barriers to learning. We will have the systems, structures and specialists in place to support these students to achieve. It provides an outstanding ‘all round’ education to students overcoming barriers that may have prevented them from engaging fully in mainstream education, giving them a second chance to achieve to their full potential. We provide a personalised learning programme for students, and look for highly trained staff who will inspire, motivate and re-engage them. Our vision is to enable our young learners to develop and achieve the essential skills needed to be happy, confident and successful in order to flourish in adult life.  The curriculum offer at Harris Aspire Academy is designed to meet the social and educational needs for students at a personalized level, delivered by highly trained and fully committed staff.

Aspire gives students a second chance to achieve to their full potential.

Aspire Academy works closely with parents and carers, communicating daily and offering them an insight, through observation and participation, to how their child will learn. Parents/Carers will be given an opportunity to support their child in a structured environment, on a weekly basis, which will help them to turn their lives around by achieving their goals/targets set.
