Half Term Intervention Sessions

Year 11

It is a statistical fact that students who attend additional intervention sessions make more rapid progress than those who simply attend the timetabled lessons alone. I look forward to a lot of our students making use of the extra sessions we are providing. Students should make full use of these sessions in order to maximise their performance in examinations and if there is any misconduct, they will be told to leave the site.

For the revision sessions, students should provide their own refreshments and lunch as there are no catering services available during the holiday period.  There are two sessions a day 10.00 am – 12.00 pm and 12.30 pm – 2.30 pm. Students will have half an hour break between the sessions where they can stay in the dining room or leave site for lunch. Please support the staff that are taking these sessions in their own free time by ensuring that students arrive punctually. They do not need to be in formal dress code as long as they are dressed appropriate to the venue i.e. no short skirts, revealing tops etc.
