Croydon's Schools' Officer of the Year
Ms Crawley is a member of the Metropolitan Police Force, assigned to the Safer Schools Officer division, she is allocated to our Academy.
Ms Crawley attends HPS6F and Aspire every week to check in on students to maintain a close working partnership with the Academy. She is also available via email and phone, whenever she is needed.
She works closely with the safeguarding team, supporting them with expert information around concerns they may have, giving advice to resolve incidences.
She will speak to students on site to support them where events may have happened that require police support. She also works with students to support them with open cases and investigations.
Ms Crawley provides resources for assemblies and group work and shares details of other agencies the Academy can work with to further support and education our students.
Ms Crawley works alongside the Gangs Team and the Youth Offending Team to ensure information is shared with the school to keep our students safe and support those who require additional intervention.
She is an integral part of our academy and we are very proud that she has received this award!
