Since opening in 2013, Harris Aspire Academy has been committed to helping young people who have found school difficult to re-engage with learning, rebuild confidence, and achieve success. We understand that every student’s journey is different and that, for some families, school has become a source of worry or stress. We work closely with parents and carers to provide a calm, supportive start and a clear plan to help students feel safe, settled, and ready to learn again.

At Harris Aspire, high expectations sit alongside strong relationships: we use consistent routines, respectful behaviour, and positive encouragement so students know what to expect and can begin to trust their school again.

Our aim is for every student to develop the skills, confidence, and qualifications they need, whether that is into further education, training, employment, or university. Alongside high-quality teaching, we provide targeted pastoral support to help overcome barriers to attendance, engagement, and achievement.

Our curriculum is personalised to meet students’ social, emotional, and educational needs, and is delivered by highly trained, committed staff. We admit cohorts in Years 10 and 11, offering Level 2 and vocational pathways.

Harris Aspire is a unique academy with a direct partnership with Harris Professional Skills Sixth Form Academy. The partnership enables the Academy to provide students with the opportunity to continue onto new courses or continue from Level 2 to Level 3 and gain the qualifications leading to University.
