Enrichment
What is Enrichment?
This is a time to enjoy and experience different activities to enhance learning experience and add confidence.
Enrichment is a mandatory part of your course and will be part of your 580 hours.
Enrichment will help to improve life skills, working towards future ambitions.
Our enrichment programmes are designed to provide students with a well-rounded education, fostering intellectual, creative, and personal growth. These programmes are tailored to complement the traditional curriculum, offering opportunities to explore other possible interests, develop new skills, and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Our enrichment programmes aim to challenge students and deepen their understanding of various subjects.
- Art
- Debate
- Financial Literacy
- Cooking and Baking
- Games Clubs.
Extra support: catch-up and study groups
Additionally, we provide Coursework Catch-Up sessions and supported study groups for students who need a quieter space, step-by-step help, or a fresh start with their learning. Students can attend for a short time or regularly—whatever helps them move forward.
How to get involved
Students can speak to their form tutor or year team to find a club that fits their interests. Parents and carers are welcome to contact the Academy if you’d like us to recommend a starting point or talk through any worries about confidence, attendance, or getting back into routines.
