Academy Timings
The timings of the day are the start of our unique offer as a sector leading alternative provision Academy.
Our school day is designed to help students and families feel supported from the very start.
The timings have been carefully planned to make returning to education feel manageable, and to provide the right level of support for each student.
Start and finish times can vary depending on the pathway so that the academy day supports and helps them build confidence with regular attendance.
One of our key approaches is a later start for some students. This can reduce morning pressure, support punctuality, and help students arrive calm and ready to learn. For those who need a more flexible start, this approach helps make school feel achievable and allows the day to begin positively.
The length of the day may also be shorter for some pathways. This helps students maintain focus and wellbeing, while creating time for extra-curricular activities and targeted support sessions. It means students can take part in the support on offer and explore interests without missing valuable lesson time.
The Academy offers different pathways for students. Each child has a personalised timetable and hours will vary upon their needs and circumstances.
They will be discussed with you during the admissions process.
